How to transfer your pension
How to start the transfer process in 3 easy steps (if you have already settled in Australia)
Submit the Fact Fact Finder Form on this website, print off the Letter of Authority, sign and send it back to our office at:
Pension Transfers (RALF Financial Services Pty Ltd)
9/4-6 Cowper St
Randwick NSW 2031
FAX: 0293 984 564
Once we receive your information we will contact you by phone to confirm your request. We will then send your documents to Pension Transfers UK with a request to conduct an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of transferring your UK pension funds to Australia.
When we receive the written analysis report from the UK, which will also be sent directly to you, we will contact you to gain your approval and the necessary information from you to prepare a Statement of Advice recommending the transfer of your UK funds into an appropriate QROPS superannuation fund.
Once you have received our Statement of Advice and given us written 'Authority to Proceed' we will then set up your compliant Australian superannuation fund to enable your UK pension to be received in accordance with current legislation in the UK and Australia.
We will liaise between your new Australian super fund and your UK funds to ensure timely transfer of your money. Richard Curran and his team at Pension Transfers UK will assist us at the UK end.
We will also provide you with details on how your Australian employer can contribute to your new fund.
We will liaise with you regularly by email or phone through the transfer process as this can take some time. When your Australian fund receives your transfer from the UK you will be sent written confirmation detailing the financial transaction.
